Sonnenblume Flower Farm and Design is now closed as we know it.
I had always planned this to be my last year in business, because I’ve graduated from high school and college, and it’s time for me to spread my wings, move out of my parent’s house, and further pursue my career.
I was originally planning on finishing out the summer season and not closing until fall, which is why I planned events through August. However, some opportunities have opened up for me sooner than I expected, and I’ve decided that now is the time for me to close this chapter of my life and move on to new things, even if it means leaving earlier than I would like.
We will still have Yoga at the Flower Farm 7/22, but I am cancelling all remaining scheduled events. I plan to bring one last batch of bouquets to Purple Fern this Thursday, 7/23, but otherwise I will not be taking any more orders.
I’m so sorry if this news is sad or disappointing, especially if you were looking forward to an event. I’m sad, too. But I am so grateful for all of the amazing customers, friends, and supporters that have gotten me to where I am now. It has been an incredible journey and it has helped me to grow in a personal and professional way, in an amazing capacity.
I may continue to post about my floral pursuits as I hope to never lose my passion for flowers, so you are welcome to continue following my journey on Facebook and/or Instagram, but I’ll be quiet for some time as I wrap everything up.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.
